Outgoing email drama!

I've been with TPG since it was available in regional NSW. I have had very few issues. That changed! I haven't changed any settings or fiddled with anything else. For the past week, I have found it increasingly frustrating that my emails cannot be sent. I have evidence that my emails have sent a week prior but not now.

I have reinstalled & sampled new email programmes to hopefully fix the issue, it hasn't. I have read so many forum messages to realise that my issue isn't the only one, please help!

@2designers . Settings are correct.

On your computer, open a command window. Do this command:

telnet  27.32.32.11  25

Will give a message    220   ESMTP mail service ready.

Type    starttls       and enter. Gives     220 Go ahead

This means you are getting connected to mail server.

Hi @2designers . Does sending via Post Office still work?

Is the problem only with mail clients? Which ones?

When you try to send, what happens to the email? Does it stay in the Outbox?

Any error message when you try to send?

What settings do you use for the SMTP (sending) part in the client?

What type of NBN connection do you have?

Hello David,

Have tested sending from the TPG Post Office and that was successful.

Microsoft Outlook has always been a thorn in my side so I ended up using Mailbird.

Upon sending an email, it continues to sit in the Outbox. A week ago, I had no worries.

I have attached the message that I receive from Mailbird.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

Hello again David,

I have failed to answer all your questions.

My NBN Connection is: NBN FTTN 50

As for my settings: (Smtp) mail.tpg.com.au / 25 / STARTTLS / Requires Auth.

Thanking you.
