No FTTB Connection

Hi, the technician came this afternoon for installation the FTTB, and he said it take 3hrs to be connected but now almost 6hrs and still no connection and I can’t connect back to my NBN. I really need the internet on ASAP. Also, my friend had a very bad experience with the FTTB connection with TPG, he been waiting for connection from April until now, 5 months now.
