No internet connection

Archer VR1600v is not connecting to the internet. Have attempted to reset the router but still not connecting

My setup is using the Archer as a bridge modem to my D-Link Dir-X3260. Connection was fine until last night. There does not appear to be any outages in my area. The Archers internet light is not lit

Can someone please respond. I urgently require my internet connection

Hi @danielsim1007 . Are you on FTTB/FTTN using Archer to make RJ11 connection to telephone wall socket? In this case, the Archer DSL light should be on but not Internet light. In bridge mode, you should not be able to sign in to the Archer.

You can check out the connection and the Archer by doing factory reset and seeing if it works by itself. Archer config is PPPoE with your TPG username and password. You need to know whether VLAN ID is set to 2 or not. If you don't know, try it disabled or set to 2.

 

BTW, email notification from Community is not working, so you need to check here from time to time.

I spoke with your technical support team yesterday and a ticket was raised with your engineers. There must have been an error on your end as the issue has been resolved. Thanks for your help
