It's been almost a month since I posted on here. I am having the same issues again. I cannot connect to the internet. My bill is paid. I've reset the modem numerous times. I've done as much troubleshooting with the modem that I possibly can.  The modem cannot connect. Last time, we had a nice man come out and test things. Yesterday, I posted a thread on here about my internet connection dropping out constantly and the connection lasting seconds/minutes and it is still happening. I have been extremely patient considering its been going on for a week now. If this is not solved today, I have no other option but to change providers. Using my phone to use the internet on my computer is costing me money which is completely unfair considering we pay $110 a month for this service. As the title says, no internet intermittently for the past week.. where it will work for for 10-15 mins then not. My computer network taskbar icon says it IS connected to the internet but it's not. Numerous modem resets, Google searches and troubleshooting ideas later, I'm really at a loss as to what this could be. I haven't had any problems so far. I haven't changed anything in almost 3 years. Xbox is still able to use Plex to stream from my PC. NBN says there's no outage in my area. I did a pathping and tracert when I could connect that I can post when I'm at my PC (around 5pm today). I am trying to change router DNS settings to Next DNS or Open DNS so I can block adult content and pornography. During my 3hr testing I have discovered that your supplied router continues to use your TPG DNS for name resolution even though i have specified a 3rd Party DNS.
