My NBN plan started from 29th July with 18months contract.   After moving in, I realised there is no phone socket and TPG tech guys told me that   I need to hire private electeician to install a phone socket to access NBN.   Installing socket cost almost $300 and I consider it is not worth for just copper line NBN access.   I like to know what is the cancellation fee if I cancel NBN plan now.   I already asked this same question 2 times without proper answer from TPG.   Please just let me know how much does cacellation cost. ... Hi   NBN plan has been active since 29 July, however, today, TPG tech confirmed that I have no phone socket   to access NBN in my house and I have to install new phone socket in order to access NBN network.   I consider installing new phone socket is just not worth it since this is only for NBN ( we dont use landline phone )   I like to know how much does it cost to cancel my NBN plan at this stage.   18months contract NBN plan started from 29 July.   I can send a modem back to TPG, of course ( never used it since I have had no internet access in current adress )   Cheers ... Hi   I applied for moving home while changing ADSL plan to NBN.   TPG informed me my new adress has FTTN service available and sent me a new modem.   I got a message from TPG that NBN installatiopn is completed and all I need to do is connet the modem to phone line socket.   However,  I only find a coaxial socket instead of phone line socket in my new home.   Can I use coaxial socket to connect to NBN in my new adress?   or Do I have to install new phone line socket to connect to TPG NBN service? ...
