New router not getting configured automatically.

Hello Team,   I received a new router today and it's not getting configured automatically.   I see below message while trying to access the page. ########################################################################################################################### Your newly installed broadband equipment is waiting to be automatically configured. You do not need to do anything just now, but if this message stays for more than 30 minutes try rebooting the modem/router and waiting a few minutes. If this message continues to persist, you should contact the Helpdesk of your Internet service provider. ########################################################################################################################### I have tried to login to http://tplinkmodem.net/ and did check the Internet status. Hi Ahra,   Thanks for the response.  However, the channels you mentioned are for 2.4Ghz. The problem that I have is with 5Ghz.    For 5Ghz, I tried to set it to 44 channel and it still drops out continuosly.   Let me know if I am missing something here.   Regards, Jagjyot ... View more

Hi Shane,   Thanks for the links.  I haven't tried to change the channel in 5Ghz frequency yet.  I have set it to Auto.  For the other link, I did tested the connection in my neighbours apartment ( Same FTTB with TPG ) and it gets the speed of around 85+ Mbps. Hello Team,   I have recently asked to update the firmware version on the router to the latest one.  However, I am seeing constant connection drop on 5GHz. Hello David,   Post Firmware upgrade I see that 5Ghz connection is dropping continuosly. One other thing that I noticed was, the Hardware version for me is Archer VR1600v v1.0 but I got the firmware version for Archer VR1600v v1.1    Could you please update the firmware version to :   TP-Link VR1600: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180828 Rel.56416n   Currently it is :   TP-Link VR1600: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 190305 Rel.72906n   Reference from previous thread:   Current firmwares. Firmware upgrade for Archer VR1600v v1

Hello Team,   I am getting low speeds in a two bedroom house on 5Hz and 2.4Hz. I use an FTTB connection and the expected speeds are around 90 Mbps.   I did reset the router to match exactly as my friend's living in the same building one floor below ours.    The only thing different was the firmware. We both are using the FTTB connection for TPG.   My Firware version is :   Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 171116 Rel.53499n Hardware Version: Archer VR1600v v1 00000000   and my friends's is :   Firmware Version:  1.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 180306 Rel.63433n Hardware Version:           Archer VR1600v v1 00000000     Let me know from where I can download the latest firmware.
