Thanks for your persual and sorry for the dealy. I was tackling anothet issue with TPG during by change from ADSL to FTTB.  My phone line was down since Saturday and was sorting it out. Another irresponsible act from    My account number is xxxxxx and hope you can get my details. Moreover, when the technician visited he advised me that as per his records I should have the tplink router and another box to plugin the phone. Eventually I didn't got the second set of hardware and the technician did the setup with the router only.   I am with TPG for nearly 20 years and the way things went wrong during my FTTB change I will really think twice next time I have to make a move. ... I changed my ADSL to FTTB with Telephone and requested to port my telstra number. It was stated that it takes upto 5 working days to port the number. Now my question is does TPG notifies the customer when the porting is done? OR TPG expects the customer to disconnect the Telstra/telephone service after 5 working days from the date of the FTTB installation. In my accounts details it shows my Telstra phone number under FTTB Digital Voice. I called TPG support then transferred to case manager and then to customer service and then was on hold for a while to get this answer. I would think it is a good gesture and saving of human time to provide clear expectation and process/procedure to the customers to avoid confusion.   ... View more

As adviseed earlier I would prefer email rather than calling due to my work requirment. I had few email between FTTB team and unfortunately there is no ETA on installation. I was advised by Rolyn that "The order has been resubmitted already and the date of installation will be available within 24-48hours or 1-2business day." My polite request is as under: I am not sure about the way TPG works but if I am not wrong then it's past 20 working days from the date of my order. Now I have been contacted since my order has been resubmitted!.  Can anyone from TPG can kindly advise what I should have done to avoid resubmitting my order. ... View more
