Hi Basil DV Hate to inform you that all modem/routers do VOIP as a normal part of the hardware.  This is what we deploy for out home based satff from the department. Noramally we use the Netcomm or Netgear range. Some of the specail sites use the certified CISCO equipment. They should also be trained to offer a conversion/porting of the home number to a VOIP phone and supply a VOIP phone instead of the TPG equipment in my opinion. The sales team currently has no idea about porting a land line to a VOIP phone line and keeping the number.
