What irks me is they said should be stable now (which it was at that point for a few hours) and not offer a decent explanation of what was changed. but that doesnt matter . What also irks more despite the trace they still seem to want to test internal networks. Doesnt matter whether its wifi or ethernet they totally ignore the hop from modem to first tpg router. this issue isnt internal it is from the modem outbound, look at the evidence for freaking sake. running a speedtest.net will not tell you this (no idea why this was suggested as a troubleshooting step!!!!) Download speed has nothing to do with latency the ping was a few K at that point but they didnt care about ping or latency only yhe DL speed.
I am only angry because of 1. the tinme it took to get internet into here and 2. i moved into the new apartment today and I cannot trust that i will be able to work tomorrow. If i cant open news.com.au what hope do i have Zooming meetings all day. So sad and as the title suggests a few weeks ago First impressions matter.
