Internet not working on router

I am trying to connect my router (tp link ax5400) to my modem(tp link ax1500) however the internet light is orange and im connected without internet. Ive tried all the troubleshooting options i could find from resseting the modem to cloning my mac adress and rebooting so any help would be a great help

Hi @Crono . The numbers you've given for the 2 routers are their wifi speeds. Each has a proper model number. What are they?

Not sure about what you're trying to do.

One must provide the internet connection to NBN. Do you have internet access on this?

Is the other being used as a cabled extender to the first?
