Get online support
I have a couple of numbers with TPG. Ported one out this week, and received a $33 parting invoice. It says :
Mobile 04*******
Mobile Number Port Out Fee (once-off) $11
Mobile Number Port Out Fee (once-off) $11
Mobile Number Port Out Fee (once-off) $11
Mobile total $33
I called up TPG accounts and asked why it was $33. I was told these lies:
1. "The $33 includes a monthly service charge" - I disagreed
2. "You have been charged 3 times as there are 3 different phone numbers" - I disagreed
There were more beauties told to me, so I asked to speak to a manager, or someone that is willing to help. Turns out that TPG had no managers available, but one will "call me back". I asked for an email to be sent from the rep I was talking to, as proof that someone will call me back. They put me on hold for a few minutes, and then came back and claimed that it takes "too long" for me to get an email. I explained that emails are quick, but the rep was not interested.
So, hopefully someone from TPG sees this, and takes the appropiate action. Seeing as TPG charged me incorrectly, and then tried to lie to cover up that overcharge, I feel that the least they can do is reduce the 3x "once-off" fees to ZERO. I'm also willing to accept compensation for non-financial loss as well, seeing as i spent over 30minutes being lied to by a TPG rep.
Hi @Will12,
We would like to review these charges and get to the bottom of this. Please send us a private message with your mobile number or customer ID.
Thanks!

A day later and the claim from TPG that a manager will call me back did not come true.
In the meantime, the invoice that was going to be "reviewed" has been charged to my bank account.
Seems that zero action has been taken by TPG, other than to steal money from me.
We have one of our accounts specialists working on this case. Updates on the refund will be provided as soon as available.
As an update to others - TPG are great at taking money they are not entitled to, not so much action when they need to pay it back.
Still waiitng on my money
@Will12 Refund is already in progress. This should be completed within 3-5 banking days.
TPG manager told me that on the phone 7 days ago. Your 3-5 working days claim is incorrect.
Well, it's not though, is it....??
According to the paperwork I was emailed from TPG today, the date for the "credit" to my card is 10TH JUNE 2022, which is a week away.
So, in a week from now, TPG might process a refund to my card for the money that they stole, despite me being told over a week ago that the invoice had been put on hold while it was being reviewed. Rediculous.
