Call of Duty - Modern Warfare Latency Issues

I started experiencing the same on ps5 and pc (steam) this week. Will only matchmake for servers under 138ping and when i connect i have 140-150ping. I normally have 2-3 ping.

Please don't tell me to check my routing blah blah blah. I am on a home FTTP, wired connection to my PC. There are posts about this all over Steam MW2 forums, Reddit, etc. This is a TPG problem, not a customer one.

I just moved to Aussie broadband and the issue has been resolved.

The situation currently is basically the exact same as what was written in this reddit post. The issue was fixed previously so please resolve this asap.

Closing steam, enabling my VPN improves the issue. Can now find games at 30-40ms, but can no longer play without a VPN

30-40ms is still poor. Need 10-20 at least

Does anyone know how to source the IP address/hostname of the COD/Activision server we are connected to during a game session?

I found it. Used resmon to determine the IP address during the game

Then ran a trace. Jumps from 17ms to almost 200ms.
