I have received the following email from Chariot this morning - see below.
I have TPG NBN/phone and my original Alphalink ( then Chariot) email address is continuing through them. Will my email address continue to function through TPG or do I now have to change address and advise thousands of recipients?
"Please be advised that Chariot Internet will be decommissioning its Dial-Up Internet and Email services because its equipment can no longer be supported. As a result, from the date below your Dial-Up Internet and Email services will be disconnected.
Your Dial-Up Internet and Email service disconnection date: 2/07/2022"
Thanks for your reply. I get the decommissioning of the Chariot server but my @alphalink email address has continued over with TPG since joining the NBN with them (as the parent company of Chariot.) What I don't know/understand is whether this arrangement continues with TPG regardless of Chariot's status.
I have still had no help with my query. You have two numbers for me, one of which is always accessible.
Can you either PM me a phone number for me to call you/someone directly, or advise whether an alphalink email address formerly owned by Chariot but now administered by and charged to TPG will be closing.
