Hello

I just signed up with TPG last week and since them starting to get disappointed of my decision. My connection is based in Eltham, Vic. I continousely getting dropouts. I work from home and have many conference calls everyday. However, since switching my connection, with NBN 50, the average speed I get is about 10-20 Mbps which is very disappointing and ridiculious for day time speed and NBN 50. The conference calls freqently drops out.

Any help in this regard? See the screenshot below for 16:51:00. In the second picture you see I have timeouts (and it is only for a min). For every of those timeouts, I have 5 seconds of interruptions in my calls which is rediculious!

Hi @jandostkhoso

There are different types of dropouts that you may experience:

1. Network dropouts, this dropout is caused by a line fault on TPG or NBN's network. Affecting all device(s) LAN/Wireless connected to the modem/router this may require a real-time test and investigation by our Technicians and Engineers.

2. Wireless dropouts, this issue only affects the device(s) connected via Wi-Fi which can easily be fix by doing adjustment to the modem/router's settings.

3. Dropouts caused by ongoing outage in your area.

In the event that you experience dropouts via Wireless/Wi-Fi connection, we recommend having a read on the following articles:

• Troubleshooting a Slow Internet Connection

• Easy Steps to Improve Wi-Fi Connection In Your Home

• Wireless Channel on your modem - what is it and why should I change it

I've found your account and remote test results showed that your connection or internet is session is up for almost 4 days now; which means the line is stable. Your line is also properly provisioned to the NBN50 plan.

I'd recommend trying out the articles above however if the issue persists, let us know your most convenient time to receive a call so we can have our Technical team to assist you further.
