Full 5G signal but no 5G connection?

I've recently signed up for 5G home internet and though my Nokia FastMile 3.2 Gateway LEDs show full 5G signal, the admin UI shows the 5G Signal as Not connected.

 

After connectivity became flaky I called up tech support who confirm no outages and, after router reset, claim that the admin UI can be misleading. Do I have 5G or not?

Im not a Mod but might have a tip to try as I also had issues with my 5g connection which I self resolved through modem settings. Please see post:

I've given that a try and will see if it helps with the internet drop-outs. 

 

Obivously it hasn't affected the apparent lack of 5G connection, which sounds like the other half of what you reported in the other thread. Did you get anywhere with that?
