I am also having the same issue as others, with the email advising the Speed Boost Gift on 9 Mar 21, but no speed increase seen yet (it remains at 50 Mbs), even through a wired connection. I will send you a PM with my user name.
I'd also like to thank TPG for offering the free upgrade for six months. It is very much appreciated.

Thanks for sending us your details. We're able to locate the account using the given details and seen that your concern with the Complimentary speed boost has been escalated. The NBN Speed Gift project is ongoing still and on trial phase. Our network team is working to align the speed. No ETR yet is available.

I have same issue, I received the email to say I got the free 200Mps but the speed is still the same.
However I cannot seems to PM directly to check if my account is actived for the free trial.
