How many salve email addresses can I setup on my account?

Hi. At this point creating of slave email can only be done with the assistance of our team. We will be posting an update as soon as the feature becomes available again.

Great that you are improving services to reduce phishing and improve email security, however what does this have to do with my ability to create my own additioanl slave email accounts?

I can have up to 19 slave accounts from my primary and it is not acceptable that I have to do this with the assistance of TPG support as this compromises my level of personal email security.

Please recitify the issue as a matter of urgency.

This is not acceptable.  In order to create a new slave address I would need to provide the new email account username and password to the support team which is not acceptable as this comprimises my security.
The email account services are depcricated for over 4 weeks already, as a TPG user I was not notified of the issue occuring so have little confidence being notified when it is resolved.  I am presently paying for services I cannot use and helpdesk support are unable to advise when this issue wil be resolved.
The current level of service from TPG on this matter is not acceptable.  As a long-term TPG customer I am very disappointed.

Hi @Happy-camper-69, as advised, we still do not have an ETA on when this feature will be made available. 

 

We absolutely understand your aim and perspective when it comes to personal security and that is what our privacy team is trying to achieve; to provide a more secure and safe email experience for all of our customers. 

 

If you are in need of creating a slave email now, we can have a specialist to assist you. As soon as the slave email is created, you may then proceed in resetting your slave email password instantly.

Hi @Ahra_G ,
I am perplexed by this response how you can state you "still do not have an ETA on when this feature will be made available".  This 'feature' was previously available and has been made unavailable due to TPG initiated works which I was not informed of the impact.  The TPG helpdesk has advised the outage is due to a system upgrade which has been underway since June 2022, yet there is no timeframe to complete the upgrade.  Unless I can be provided with a firm date for resolution 7 days prior to the end of my next billing cycle (payable on 13/08) I will be moving to another internet provider on or before that date.

We do value you as a long time customer and as advised above though you are not able to create a slave account on your end, our customer care team can do it in your behalf. For your security, as soon as these emails are created we suggest that you change the password.

 

Our security team is working on additional measures to improve your internet experience and we hope that the self service feature will be restored soon.
