Increased speed through overprovisioning

I don’t think we’ll see over provisioning (OP) from Tpg, OP needs to be activated by the RSP, I’ve spoken to 9 of my friends connected to TPG and none of them have seen any speeds changes, most are on FTTP, Friends on Optus and AussiBB have all seen increases. A friend on Optus FTTN is seeing 110 speeds.
Can someone from TPG advise when over provisioning will be activated for its customers.

Yep - seems to be no advice from TPG on overprovisioning on FTTC. I have asked the question repeatedly, but there is no solid outcome so far.

Seems TPG don't want to discuss this.

That’s why I’ve switched providers, i got instant speed boost.

Well, I don't know what happened but I now get 98 - 101 MBps down, even as I write this at 8.05 pm on a weeknight.

Used to get typically 92-94 MBps. Ping is unchanged at 5 to 6 ms. Which is good.

Thanks to whomever made the changes!

Back we go to 92-94 MBps all day/night. Good while it lasted!

Ping still 5-6 ms so meh.

Still at 94 Mbps with ping 5 ms. At 12.20 am Friday morning.

Enjoyed the speed boost while it lasted.

Now at 100 Mbps with unloaded ping of 4 ms at just after midday on a weekday.

Exactly what I am paying for on FTTC.

Keep it coming.
