Hi, I had NBN connection box replaced and replaced with a DLink modem router, both devices were down due to a thunderstom. The internet was since connected and working well. However, from day 1 I started having access issues to my workplace intranet 'wiki' and often having issues when save files (I am using office 365). My laptop is work laptop from my workplace. I have called TPG helpdesk few times and got assistance from few technical support officer and also called DLink support. However, I still have the problems. The strange thing is that I never had issues with the previous NBN connection box and TP-Link modem (supplied by TPG at the time installation), also no issues whenever I switched to mobile phone hotspot. I never had issues using my laptop by connecting to the wifi at workplace. I am this is the internet issue. This issue has been annoying me every day when I am working from home.
I am hoping if anyone can share a solution or an experienced technical support officer cna help me out.
Hi @hengbao81 . You have HFC connection, D-Link DIR-X5460 router, TP-Link extender for wifi upstairs to work laptop.
Does your work have a separate internet connection, not part of their internal network, where you can connect work laptop and see if it works, like you were working from home?
This will prove that laptop works ok.
With saving files, is this like in Windows application, you click File, Save as, you get a window with drives and directories, and you enter the filename? If you don't see the local drive (C or the Onedrive volume (presumably located at your work), there's a Windows or Onedrive problem.
When you open files, do you see your local files and Onedrive files?
When you try to access the wiki, is that using the browser on the laptop?
Is it the initial page that doesn't load, or do you get some way in before it fails?
