This is bad, but also good to realise that other people are having the same issue and it's not isolated.

Thank you, I have PM you my details.

For reference I am nowhere near typical advertised NBN50 speed of 45.6MPBs

I am only reaching 36 avge on a good day. It is obviously worse in the evening.

I just run speed test remotely from your router, can see speed is more than our expectation,
its seems you are having issues with wifi, or bandwidth sharing(using multiple devices at the same time or heavy downloads and stream )

if you got a PC or laptop, please connect the LAN cable to the router, turn-off WIFI and run the test,
2 -IF you are close to the router, always use 5G wifi
wifi 2.4, always got lots of interference it won't give you the actual speed

That does not explain the dropouts though.
