Yeah, they sent a tech out to my house (not sure why) he checked everything was ok with my setup and he said it would be escalated. I received a call from TPG saying that the tech checked everything was ok so I should just use another game server...
I told them that is not possible and they have to fix this issue as it has to do with their routing or one of their providers.
I am guessing from what I read here (and other posts from Final Fantasy player) that nothing will be done.
Looking for another provider is the only solution unless you want to start spending more money on a VPN.

Hi,
I'm just recently switch to TPG from a previous provider and I've noticed that my pings' much higher compare to my previous link. I'm gettingn around 180ms before and I thought that's because of my old provider's slower speed.
Now I'm getting 300-ish ms on a normal day.

I played genshi since 15/9/, the connection is all good. But since 19/10, the connection become terrible, 380ms delay make me couldnt play anymore, even there IT support couldnt help me.
Now I only could play with the hot spot.
The network they change cause the terribe delay, I think its base on area.
My friend have 150ms with TPG that have no problem

Thanks for raising this to us. We'd love to help see what causing latency issue on the game, to better understand the situation please perform the following tests below.
I. CONTINUOUS PING:
To conduct a continuous ping, ensure that none of your other PCs are doing internet activity.
Open up the command prompt of one of your PCs.
Type the following in "ping <IP address> -n 1000" without the quotations.
ping 192.168.1.1 -n 1000
ping 10.20.22.148 -n 1000
ping http://tpg.com.au -n 1000
Wait for the test to finish and for the PING STATISTICS, found at the end, to show up.
Save the screenshots.
We should have 3 ping test results.
II. TRACE ROUTE
To conduct a trace route,
Open up the command prompt of one of your PCs.
Type the following in "tracert http://tpg.com.au" without the quotations.
EXAMPLE: tracert http://tpg.com.au
Perform another trace route to your game server.
Save a screen shot of the traceroute results.
III. SPEED TESTS:
For speed tests, please run the speed tests at : http://www.speedtest.net
Please just get a screenshot after the test is complete.
Please don't forget to indicate the timestamps for these tests.
You may send me the test result directly together with your Account Details (Username/Customer ID together with the address on file) or post the screen shot of the test result on this thread.
