New 5 g modem no activation

New 5G modem arrived Wednesday. Doesn’t have internet connection. First was told we don’t have enough signal. Tried to cancel service and then told the sim not activated.
Saturday and still not working.
No where in setup guide does it say the sim needs activating. Just turn on and it should work. HELP!! Can’t even cancel service now.

I have the same problem, and given the absolute runaround! I'm changing providers of it's not sorted tomorrow.

Exactly the same thing here!

New Nokia Modem just randomly turned up. No mention of it being on it's way.

Then I get a text to say it will dispatched on that day or day after....?

No mention of activation required. Just plug and play......ya riiiight.........

Live chat and ringing, just goes round and round and round in circles.

Just wait 24 or 48hrs they say..........

 

This is absolutely absurd. It's also worth noting that there's similar posts dating back to 2023 mentioning the exact same thing.

One more day I'll wait. Then we be saying bye bye TPG..........what a crock!
