Outlook error

Good questions @david64

No similar message comes up when I use our Outlook account with Microsoft 365. It doesn't normally come up when I am using Outlook 2016 to access TPG emails.

I would have no idea whether our email address and password are configured in Outlook. I just open Outlook 2016 and access our TPG email account. For now, anyway.

I haven't tried ticking the box to save the password, sorry.

Things seem to work just fine, then they don't. This current palaver seemed to be started by the fact that I was responding to "change your preferences" emails.

Don't worry @BasilDV , it would help me too. I don't think I changed anything - just went out of Outlook and dealt with other things on the computer for a while, came back to it and the bugging popup message had ceased. Thanks for your help.

Hi @apw-user . Your settings are correct.

Has this only been a problem since this morning?

How far into Outlook do you get? Can you see your folders? Are you able to compose an email?

Any error message when you try to send or read emails?

Have you checked that Post Office is working?

PostOffice has always worked fine.

Yes, now Outlook works on my Windows desktop and Android phone.

It's all a bit random

My emails using Outlook 2007 haven't worked for a week now.

Hi @fneill1503 . Do you get an error message from Outlook?

Outlook 2007 probably doesn't support TLS 1.2 which is used by TPG mail server.
