During a recent thunderstrom we lost internet acccess. NBN tech has been out and we have internet to the property but the modem isn't working, expect it got damaged during the storm. We have plugged in a friends modem and this works so it's definately the modem issue.
My question is will TPG replace my modem? I could ring them but don't have the time to sit on the phone waiting!! I've been talking to support team for many hours already this week and have been without internet for nearly a week.

Lightning EMPs can damage modems, but first try a power reboot. Maybe settings have just been scrambled.
