Good day, Mattzac1

I've since checked the status of your connection and it appears to be normal.

We'd like to know whether you're still experiencing issues with the connection? If so, kindly send us with your contact details so I can have our Technical Team to assist and check for any underlying issues.

Cheers!

Hi Mattzac1,

We've received your private message with your contact details. I went ahead and organised a call back to be made today between 5PM - 6PM AEST. We would appreciate if you have the ping test results with you so we can use it during the troubleshooting.

Should you have another preferred time or has further queries, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks!

Hi @vlamatti,

Welcome to TPG Community!

We were able to locate your account using your community details and understand that you were able to speak with our Tech team.

It appears that you are using a WiFi connection to play your games, please note that the WiFi is prone to signal interference which may cause an issue with your connection.

Using an Ethernet connection will give you a stable connection with lesser interference, which is advisable for online gaming.

How far is your computer from your modem? Are you connected to the 2.4GHz network or the 5GHz network?

Regards,

BasilDV

hi    @BasilDV

My Acco has the same name  I can't run a cable for other reasons, I'm using the 5Gz wifi

I've been playing with the wifi connection for more then a year, I've just moved to newborn a few months ago and I'm having the same problem of these other guys

The only issue is I can't change the modem because I have a home phone on the modem.

The only issue is that I've played for a few evenings without lagging

@Ahra_G I have also experienced random spiking ping in the past week. It happens on all of my devices (PC, laptops, mobiles)
I've tried rebooting router and it would be fixed temporarily for 30-60mins.
This would cause high ping, packet losses, much slower downloads and sometimes completely no service.
Prior to October there has been no issue at all.
