TP-Link router issues

Hello all. I've been experiencing issues involving our internet. Since last night, both the phone and internet have not been working. The internet works for a split second before closing off again. The internet light on the router shuts on and off. I'm wondering if it's a router issue. Any help thanks.

EDIT: it's not an NBN issue, at least I think. All lights on the HFC box are green.

Based on what you have described, looks like the session is dropping. This could be caused by the modem, network fault, or sometimes high upload usage.
