TPG OUTAGE AGAIN

TPG's alerting system is terrible. I keep getting "planned outage" text messages, but the dates keep on changing.

on Monday 01/11/21 I got "TPG Reminder: NBNCo planned maintenance in your area 02/11/21 7 AM - 3 PM"

Then yesterday, 03/11/21 I got "TPG Reminder: NBNCo planned maintenance in your area 04/11/21 7 AM - 3 PM"

Then this morning, 04/11/21 I got "TPG Reminder: NBNCo planned maintenance in your area 05/11/21 7 AM - 3 PM".

Then the outage came this morning!!!!!

TPG, get your s&^% together. If you're going to have constant outages, at least have a proper alerting system. I work from home!!!!!

I know this response is a little old now, but I notice it completely ignores the issue of the OP - which is still a problem to this day.

TPG's notifications for "NBNCo Planned Maintenance" have become a complete joke. I get so many of them, I treat them as spam. Usually there is no outage, but if there were, it would be outrageous - I'd have outages every week. TPG and NBN really need to take a look at this:

1. Don't cry wolf - only send a notification if there is a genuine need for an outage - not because some NBN contractor is opening a pit somewhere within a 50km radius.

2. If there is a need for an outage, *only* do it during super-off-peak times (can't believe this needs to be stated).

This was *never* an issue before NBN - nor should it be!
