Dear Sir

I have experienced some internet data transfer issues. (Connection type TPG FTTB)

I restarted my modem/router, but the issue continues.

I found the following message in the modem/router log. (Modem/router: Asus DSL-AC68U)

Dec 25 18:07:40 WAN Connection: Fail to connect with some issues.
Dec 25 18:07:54 WAN Connection: WAN was restored.
Dec 25 21:53:10 WAN Connection: Fail to connect with some issues.
Dec 25 21:53:39 WAN Connection: WAN was restored.

How do I do next?

Could you check TPG network facility?

Thank you.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these internet issues. It sounds frustrating! Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected, including the Ethernet cable from your modem to the router and from the router to your computer.

Restart Devices: You've already restarted your modem/router, but try doing it again just to be sure.

Update Firmware: Make sure your Asus DSL-AC68U modem/router firmware is up to date. You can check for updates on the ASUS website or through the router's web interface.

Log Analysis: The repeated "Fail to connect" messages in your log could indicate a problem with the WAN settings or a potential hardware issue. You might want to review the WAN settings in your router's web interface and ensure they match the information provided by TPG.
