Hi,

we have since this early morning heaps of disconnects.

The speeds are between bad and normal, but not as good as usual.

Pings are fine:

We get this every few month, but you were always able to fix it at your end.

NBN should be on it's way, but is not confirmed yet, so it would be good, if we could have a stable ADSL2+ connection up to that date.

Thanks a lot in advance for Your help [again] !

Best Regards

Hi Ahra_G,

thanks for the info's about the NBN !

The Technician came out today, did it's line testing etc. and our connection repaired itself in the process.

So again, the issue was not on our side / within our property, but the real cause is unknown.

Thanks a lot to everyone involved in the process of fixing our internet connection !

We really appreciate !

Have a nice weekend !

Best Regards

Hi @72debbie

Based on the ticket that was handled by our Engineering Team, we had detected that some of the dropouts were coming from your modem previously. As I mentioned the last time, the adjustment that was made on our end seems to counteract the errors from your modem and seems to have addressed the dropouts you're experiencing but lowered down the sync rate you were previously getting.

I have made another adjustment that will improve your speed, but still provide a buffer for the errors. We'll see how it affects the stability of your connection. However, if the dropout reoccurs, you may need to test your connection with another ADSL modem since we're not detecting any line fault.

The NBN service that will be installed at your premises will be NBN HFC. It will no longer use your copper line.

Regards,

Hi,

Just an update:

The ADSL2+ connection was at the end fast and stable again.

We got today our HFC-NBN and its great so far!

Hi,

we had a few more re-connects, some every 10-20min's and once all router LED's were on, but no connecting established, which we could fix with another router restart.

Before that, we had a stable connection for over 1 hour and now after the latest restart, we got for over 1 hour a stable and fast connection again.

So whatever You are doing or what's going on behind the scenes, it seems to work.

We will monitor and use our internet / connection and report back, if things change.

Best Regards

Hi,

it was good for a few hours, but now the re-connects are back and the connection was only ~20min working, before we got the latest re-connect.

Hi,

we had several more re-connects over the period of time, since I last reported, but before the most recent re-connect, the connection was stable for 8+ hours.

Thanks for reaching out to us @72debbie. We're sorry to hear about the drop outs issue you have encountered.

I had a look on your account and have not seen any evident line issues or fault on your connection. Though I've noticed some noises / interference that can be the cause of the drop outs.

I've made some adjustments on your connection to lessen the noises and improve the stability profile on your account. Let us know how if drop outs is still evident over the next 24 hours. Let us know how it goes, thank you.

Hi Jhoey,

it was for most  of the time not too bad and even the speeds came back up to where they were previously:

 Good2Good2

... but then it started again tonight, with heaps of re-connects in a very short period of time:

 Bad2Bad2

.

... and that's how it is at the moment, after more re-connects:

Good6Good6

It was in between stable for over an hour, but then got unstable again.

I only hope, that we have more luck with the upcoming NBN (TBC).

Best Regards

Hi @72debbie,

Thanks for the additional details. Even though we made an adjustment on your connect to make eliminate the dropouts we ran another test it shows another dropouts on the line. We'd like to arrange a call from one of our Technicians for further test and investigation.

Feel free to PM me your best contact number and preferred time today.
