My home wireless broadband is performing very badly. Sometimes not all. When working am only getting 1 or 2 MBS

The Home Wireless broadband service will give up to 20 Mbps speed only.
If you are getting 2 MB/s (16 Mbps), then it is within range.
Is the issue time specific? What speed were you getting when it is performing poorly?
What troubleshooting have you already exhausted?

restarted modem, checked firewall is OK

Have you tried to relocate the modem/router near a window? Are you not able to use the service as of the moment?

The modem is in the same place it has been in for 6 months.
The 4G signal strength is about the same as always (-112 to -114 dBm).
