Archer vr1600 v2 - 2.4 Ghz wifi not working

Hi,

I'm using Archer vr1600 v2 and the 2.4 Ghz wifi not working. 5 Ghz works fine.

Hi @6672012 . Has the 2.4 wifi been working before or never worked?

Can your devices detect it or is it missing?

Is the 2.4 indicator light on?

If you login to Archer admin, is the 2.4 wifi enabled?

The SSID is not hidden?

2.4 Ghz qwas working till yesterday evening.

I have done a factory reset as well and spoken to TPG techsupport. 

Can updating firmware help ?

@6672012 . I'd say it is broken. How old is it? It might still be in warranty.

If you use the VOIP phone, you have to use a TPG supplied router.

If out of warranty and don't want phone, you could buy some other model.

Latest firmware is Build 220518, but don't think that is problem.

Technical Support had no suggestions?
