Hi @JT1,

What type of  TPG-NBN technology do you have? In the event that you have NBN-HFC you need to make sure that you can set up the VLAN ID to 2 as it is required to setup the internet.

Hi @JT1 . VLAN is needed for FTTC and HFC.

This user posted a problem with ROG saying that VLAN 2 was reserved by the router firmware, even though they added a capture showing the setting.

It's common with Asus to put the internet vlan in with iptv with a custom/manual setting rather than a specific ISP setting.

Another user has the ROG working with TPG on a connection with VLAN 2. That user previously used the TPG router with VOIP phone which uses VLAN 2.

If you can't resolve the VLAN problem, you could ask TPG about converting to a BYO router data only plan, no VOIP service. This doesn't use VLAN.
