While I've read that TPG routers allow a connection to other providers, what about the landline phone VOIP function?
I have been asked by another provider to check if in your TP-Link Archer modem the built-in VOIP function can be used with the other provider?
Since we are using the unique firmware for the TPG provided modem/router, the VoIP function might not work with other providers.
You may check if you can flash and install a different firmware for you to be able to use the VoIP function of the device.

So another item TPG are not transparent about, that the supplied modem IS LOCKED from being used for VoIP, if users change to a different provider!
Most providers do not lock their modems like that, making it only useful as a backup NBN modem, without phone, forcing people to buy a new unlocked modem.
The TPG provided modem/router is free of charge unless you purchased it with us @coolmobility.
As advised, you can try to flash the firmware of the provided device and install a new one, but can't guarantee that it will work.
