Hi,
I am using the TP-LINK AC1600v modem router. Lately, I have been performing internet speedtest:
Wireless download speed is 3Mbps
Wireless upload speed is 14Mbps on my 50Mbps plan.
When I connect using ethernet cable:
Download speed is 45Mbps
Upload speed is 18Mbps
Is there anything wrong with my modem router?
Thanks!
Hi @coolblizz
What troubleshooting have you done so far? Are you connected via 2.4GHz or 5GHz band network?

Hi BasilDV...
I am using both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
Download speeds have been slow lately, and it wasn't like this previously.
Previously, the wireless download speed could reach to 10Mbps.
The modem router has been in one place all the while and has not been moved.
When I am using wireless wifi, the internet speeds are slow, down to 3Mbps.
When using ethernet cable, the speeds are alright.
Thank you!
Alright, then signal interference may be causing this.
Have you tried the troubleshooting or adjustments on the articles that I've provided?
If not, please try them first and test your connection speed again.

Hi BasilDV...
Oh yes, after I have changed the channel, the internet speed goes up significantly!
Thank you very much for diagnosing the problem.
You are awesome!
