Get online support
Hi all,
I have justed upgraded to the Superfast plan with 200 MBPS of download speed.
However, through a speed test, the speed never exceeded 100 MBPS.
TPG Technical Support told me that it is due to the modem. TPG Technical Support also told me that the modem should have delivered the promised speed. So it appeared that he was rather surprised.
The model I have is TP-Link AC1200.
The hardware version is Archer C1200 v1.0.
The firmware version is 1.0.0 Build 20180208 rel.59779 (EU).
This webpage suggests resolving the issue by changing the Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting to "1000Mbps full duplex". I have tried this. But it still did not deliver the desired speed.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to the Community!
We were able to locate your account and learned that you've been in touch with our Tech team.
Since there's a possibility that the current router can't support the upgraded NBN speed, a new modem/router was requested for you.
Further updates will be provided via Email notification or phone call once available.

Hi
My modem is now at the depot. It is going to be delivered by StarTrack.
StarTrack told me that I can not collect the item myself because this is not allowed by TPG.
Can TPG please let me know why?
Thank you.
We can see that the parcel has been delivered, let us know should you require further assistance.
Regards,
