firmware update Archer VR1600v v2.0

Hi I have an Archer VR1600v v2.0 modem and I am using a D-link extender. My extended network is dropping out several times a day. I have been told the firmware on the extender is current. Could I please see if I need an upgrade for the modem. 

Currently I have:

The firmware version is: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n

The hardware version is: Archer VR1600v v2.0 00000000

Hi @susanw1967com . According to other threads here, the router has the latest firmware.

What model number is the extender?

Is it connected to Archer by cable or does it pick up the Archer's wifi and extend it?

It it picks up Archer wifi, does it have a signal strength indicator?


When devices on the extender network drop out, what happens to devices directly connected to Archer?

Any change to lights on Archer? (DSL, WAN, Internet)

Let's have a look whether your modem has the latest firmware version. Send us your TPG customer ID or username via PM
