Is it this year, next year, next month etc?

There is no solid information on the TPG websites - just replies in this community to register for the upgrade and we'll get back to you. 

Other ISPs suggest they will get the change made if you start a plan with them.

Is it actually going to happen or is it just a teaser from the NBN?

Hi. There is no available information yet on when it will be available. Announcement will be made to our Social Media Pages for a updates related to Faster NBN plans.

We will be participating in the NBN Fibre Connect Program soon. If you're interested, we can register your details and notify you as soon as it's ready. The program will only be available in selected areas. Can you please PM us with your TPG customer ID/username along with your full address?
