3G network closure regarding my mobile calls and SMS

Suddenly, the network goes out of service. I'm currently in Japan. Do I need a new SIM card to continue with the same plan?

Hi @Jun22, What's the model of your handset? If your handset is a 3G-only device, you may need to get a new device.

im using iphone SE 3rd generation.

@Jun22 Was it purchased overseas? When did it stop working? Is your roaming enabled before going overseas?

I bought it inJapan and i could use SMS and calls until 15 April Monday in Japan.

The last SMS recieved on 15th April.

My roaming is enable before going overseas.

 I could use it until 17th April  in japan.

Suddenly  my iphone shows ' NO Service'

I use this SIM since 2010. 

and i know my iphone  always showed 3G network.

Maybe my SIM only works with 3G networks?

Hi @Jun22, checking the iPhone SE (3rd Gen) it stated that it supports 4G LTE, 5G networks. You might want to check the settings if you need to manually select the network. Here's a link for reference Manually selecting a Network Carrier for Mobile Voice
