Get online support
@david64 IThanks...I've uninstalled Malawarebytes and Avast. I've tried disabling my VPN for 5 mins and tried to log in...all to no avail. I can't think of what other security there is.
@zebra43 . Last thing to try. This is Win7 so yours might be different.
In Windows, Start, enter in Search bar: certmgr.msc
This displays all certificates. Checking that Expiration Date is in the future. Don't change anything.
Expand Trusted Root Certification Authorities/Certificates.
4th certificate AAA Certificate Services
3rd certificate USERTrust RSA Certification Authority.
(Check this is also in Third-Party Root Certification Authorities.)
Expand Intermediate Certification Authorities/Certificates.
2nd certificate Sectigo RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA
You'll see a Certificate Revocation List in there. Check that none of these three are in it.
@david64 Thanks. I've checked all those and the dates are all in the future.
I have a friend who works in IT...not specialising in this particular field but he's pretty cluey. I might ask him when he gets back from holidays, otherwise I'll just have to log in on my mobile, or his computer perhaps if I need to, unless maybe a future Windows update might do something?
Appreciate all your help and advice.
@zebra43 . You might try Mozilla support. They might have a suggestion.
Info on this:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/secure-connection-failed-firefox-did-not-connect
When I do packet capture on my computer, the cyberstore.tpg.com.au is using TLSv1.2 so that shouldn't be the problem.
@david64Last night I was thinking about what you mentioned about other security products I might have had, then I realised that although I had disconnected Nord VPN, I hadn't turned off the virus protection that comes with Nord now. Once I'd done that, I was able to log in...finally!
Sorry to put you through all that when I should have realised the problem earlier, and thank you for all your help.
Regards

Hi. I tried contacting Mozilla support, but they gave me the answer that this message is most often not due to a browser error. Most likely, this error occurred on the side of the server that the browser is trying to log in to.
