Hi team,

 

As TPG have decided to close down Chariot services including email and associated domains that have been running for 30 odd years, can i please buy the @pipeline.com.au  domain so i can continue to keep my 30 year email active. I can handle the technical side easily and I am happy to support the other 6000 odd customers you guys are shutting down. I feel its the right thing to do.

Yes - total disgrace disabling the email service without warning or user notification. I have moved to office 365 - have had my email hosted since I registered domain in 2000. I will be seeking a full refund of the $99 TPG charged me on 30th June for domain email hosting. And I will be moving the Internet/landline and 4 x mobile accounts to other providers.

Unable to send email for several weeks - and then unable to receive since 07/07/22. Very costly personally and busainess-wise. Contacted TPG support twice - only promise of escalation and then no response.

Absolutely disgraceful - these clowns shouldn't be allowed do business in Australia.

Definitely find any other option for email hosting  - not TPG under any circumstances. And the Huawei internet modem has always been cheap junk.

We do not own the domain name that you wish to purchase. Also, we cannot provide any alternative offers to customers as TPG is also no longer providing Dial-up Internet or Email hosting services. Do back up all the important emails you have before your Chariot Email service decommissions

An email and SMS notification was definitely sent out regarding the Chariot's end of life. Regrettably, we cannot provide any alternative offers to customers as TPG is also no longer providing dial-up internet or email hosting services. It saddens us that you are also cancelling your service with us, if you would like to discuss it, we'll have an account specialist to give you a ring and you can always PM your account and contact details.

Re: backing up, is Chariot email capable of IMAP sync? I have a customer who has about 50 folders I'd like to backup. Currently I can only sync to Outlook with POP and this does not include folders (only inbox). If so can you please list the correct servers and ports. The download MBOX feature in the webmail does not work, I get an error 500 (ie server crash) so this is also not an option.

Hi Angeli,

 

TPG own IINET, IINET own Connect West, Connect West own the domain. Can you please advise when I can buy the domain off TPG or subsidiary as it will no longer be of use to TPG?
