Tiny bit of a necro post but this is extactly what is happening to me. I'm trying to begin the "Moving Home" process but when it comes to the Step 4 and where it will send the new equipment it shows my old address. So to try and fix it I went into the "Update Contact & Payment Details" to change it to the new address it the same as the original poster and does not upate the details. I need this fixed before I can even begin the "Moving Home" process.

I'm currently in the process of finding a new home but it has been tough. I'm closing in on my vacate date and wondering what I can do about my internet/phone service. As I have no new address to change the service too yet and I still need my e-mail address. Can I continue to pay for my service or a reduced cost just for the e-mail address?

Over the last couple of weeks I have been getting at minimum 2-3 phishing e-mails. Mostly the TPG Billing scam, but now it is also Netflix account scams and offers of Apple iPhones (As if I'd ever want that garbage). Has there been a breach with the TPG e-mail address lists recently? This only started recently and I make sure to to click on dodgy crap on websites and I know I am not the only one that has been getting these e-mails.

My modems current firmware: Hardware version: VER.B Software version: V100R001C216B113 Just curious about what is the current firmware versions for the HG659. Is mine currently up to date in firmware?

My current Plan is NBN FTTN 50 with the OzTalk Addon, but due to a fault on TPGs website at the time I activated the OzTalk addon the billing dates aren't the same. There is a 9 day difference which it really shouldn't exist as it is an addon and should by all definition should be billed on the same date. My NBN was recently billed on the 15th April while the OzTalk addon was recently billed on the 24th April. I want the OzTalk addon billing date brought back in line with the NBN. I've talked with other TPG personel about doing such and they told me that they cannot move the OzTalk addon due date but could move the NBN due date. If one can be moved and not the other; especially when one is the addon for the main product, I call BS. It is such a pain on managing my finances and would like it fixed up ASAP.

Well it stayed up for ~8 hours then dropped again. Hopefully the tech; if still coming around, will be able to fix it.

With the change of the RJ45 cable it has now held for 1.5 hours, hopefully that was a cause of the issues. Will report back if problem picks up again.

This is getting beyond rediculous, it is taking upwards of 10+mins for it to "attempt" to reconnect. Just replaced the RJ45 phone cable, will see if it holds for long. I have my doubts.

@BasilDVFor curiosity sake if someone was to use their own modem and not one supplied by TPG would TPG supply them with the details for the phone to work or is it strictly for TPG inhouse modems only?

When it drops out I cannot even go into the modem settings. Cable error[8180]. Please make sure the cable is connected to the gateway properly. If the cable connection is secure, click "Try Again". You can also click Try WLAN to set up a WLAN connection. One of the errors that shows up when it disconnects.

These intermitant disconnections are getting really annoying. Could a faulty cable connecting to the phone wall socket be a potential problem?

Previous modem Downstream/Upstream rates: ~45mbps/~18mbps This morning I was cleaning around the modem and once done I noticed I no longer had internet connected. It was the only thing not working. I tried turning it off and on and nothing came of it. I then went about unpluggin everything, and blowing out any potential dust and firmly placing the plugs back into the back of the modem. This seemed to work and it finally connected back to the internet, except I lost roughly half the downstream speed and it sat at ~22mbps with the same upstream of ~18mbps. I gave it a restart to see if it would fix it and it only went up a tiny amount to ~32mbps/~18mbps. Can you run a test on my line and potentially the modem to see if there is a problem. Current DSL Information.
