Hi @vstewart You might need to configure the server settings manually and specify the username and password. Remeber when you create an alias you need to use the same login settings which will be your account username and account password. When you use the setup wizard in outlook and type in your new alias address, outlook would use that as the username which probably causes it to fail. For example if you created a new alias called iamstewart@tpg then the username name needs to still be your original account login and not iamstrewart. The email server settings should remain the same mail.tpg.com.au for both outgoing and incoming. Dont forget the emails that are sent to your alias email address will be delivered to the original email address you created it on. TPG also lets you create new email addresses so that might also be an option for you. Hope this helps     ... View more

Hi @Luna When I signed up with TPG for ADSL bundle (like 5 yrs ago) they shipped me a modem through a courier company, it was Startrack. The day they processed it I also got an email from TPG with my tracking number so I can track my order on the Startrack website. I was at work on the day it was delivered and when I checked it online it said they attempted delvery and thats its waiting at my local post office. When I got  home I also found a note saying the same.   When I changed from ADSL home bundle to NBN theryshipped me another modem again through Startrack. I got the email fwith my tracking number but the next morning the driver came in and delivered, luckily there was someone home to accept it. I guess if you live in Sydney you would get the deiivery within a day or two, other states might be longer.   ... View more

Yes @Ells the TPG mobile plans are prepaid and you pay the monthly fees each month in advance. You are also required to make a prepayment of $20 and TPG will use this amount in case you let's say make calls which are not included in your plan or use extra data. If you keep using extra data/calls outside your included value and you go below $10 on this prepayment TPG will automatically top it up by debuting you. If you know what you spend then you don't have to worry about it. Checking usage is very simple all you need to do is log into your account on their website and view it there. You also get reminder SMSs when you use 50% of your included data/calls or close to exceeding it. Both me and my wife have TPG mobile plans and never had any issue ... View more

@NGPriesttheoretically you are right, keep in mind that NBN doesnt install equipment at all homes it really depends on what technology your area is serviced with. I am on NBN FTTN with TPG and I dont have any NBN equipment. I connect my modem straight to the phone socket which then connects me the NBN node located 2 streets away. Prior to me signing up for NBN I had an ADSL service with TPG and I wasnt required to be home on the NBN install date, all I needed to do was to swap to the new modem after I received the SMS confirming my NBN was installed. My mate has NBN HFC which runs on the cable network - he needed to be home on the install date because the NBN guy needed to connect this cable box for him. ... View more
