I can access the Post Office now, however I have not been able to for a week. It comes and goes and I just put it down to gremlins due to the ongoing migration issues that many are experiencing. Sometimes I get as "Whoops, something went wrong" message. Seriously? I know that. I sent a email between the accounts I mention previously this morning, and this afternoon I can't get email to or from. MS Outlook is the client at both ends and works fine to or from anyone else. It is 100% totally frustrating that a good email system has gone down the toilet.

What is the issue with sending or recieving emails between my TPG email account and a Westnest email account. This is an regular and ongoing issue since I decided to migrate both accounts. One is my personal TPG email, the Westnet is a business email. I understand the migration is a big undertaking, but really I don't care. I just want a workable email system. It worked this morning but this afternoon it won't. Fed up! And, where is my webmail. That's a stuff up too.

Since the migration of my email to TMC thee have been a raft of send/recieve issues. Daily. This morning I can't access the TMC Post Office or recieve email to my home computer via Outlook. I just get time out error messages. The whole migration scam is beyond a joke. TPG seems to have washed their hands and TMC can't provide a reliable email service. Meanwhile long term TPG customers are being sold a pup. This is customer service at the lowest runfg on the ladder. Yes this is a rant, so at least I feel better.

Yes. From the TPG and Westnet postoffices directly. Undeliverable from both. Like I said email from and to anyother address except TPG and Westnet works 100%. And I can email myself with a test message or my wife who also has a TPG email address. To or from Westnet is a no go. It was fine until the "migration". And the whole exercise has been very frustrating as you know from posts and comments from other customers.

Since the email migration stuff up was commenced I can not recieve email from a Westnet address. I can recieve email successfully from everyone else, and I can send email from a TPG adress to TPG adress, or to anyone else. Except to or from Westnet. WHY?

Same here. TMC and TPG are doing a really bad customer service job at the moment. I predict a lot of long term TPG customers will leave over the email fiasco.

No email for me either. Webmail or desktop not receiving email. So far the migration to TMC is going well. That's just a joke TPG and this customer will be looking elsewhere unless things improve and soon.

I have also had the same issue sending individual or group emails to bigpond.com adresses. The recipients complained that they were not being delivered despite me recieving a delivery reciept. This has been worse over the recent long weekend in NSW.

PM sent. And for the record I am getting fed up with TPG engineers giving me the run around. I am now paying for a service that TPG can't provide!

I understand that the case engineer is maybe doing their best to fix the issue. But, their best is far from good enough. The old modem worked, so why not the new one. Getting a MAC address to communicate with the phone number is not rocket science. I NEED it fixed as the phone line is a medical requirement for me.

The phone service is an URGENT requirement for medical reasons. Two days to sort this out, and really it's a simple issue, is just not good enough. My old modem worked with the phone service, so can someone please register the new MAC address (6C-5A-B0-08-0A-02) and get my phone service back on line .

I have been contacted and the problem seems to be that the MAC address of the new modem is not registered to my landline phone number. I really need this sorted out as the landline is required for medical contacts.

Thanks for the update. The home phone is a requirement for medical reasons, so I am a little anxious that it is sorted as soon as possible.

I have installed a TPG supplied TP Link TP Link VX420-G2h as a replacement modem for my TPG supplied Archer VR1600v which was faulty. I now have internet access and WiFi is working throughout the house. The phone is not working and the phone light on the modem is not lit. I have a ticket open with TPG Technical support. I understand the MAC address needs to be registered for my VOIP to work. How long will this take please, as the house phone is an urgent requirement.

Having a technician call me will not fix the discoloration from overheating of the modem, and the modem is operating OK. It needs to be replaced so can you advise me how that can happen please, as has been arranged for others with the same issue with an TP-Link Archer VR1600V modem. Back to you, again.

Firstly I have never been advised to re-boot the modem weekly. Not once. However it has been re-booted a number of times due to the NBN dropping out in my area, which is country NSW, or I just re-boot it when the NBN speed seems to be slower. The discoloration of the modem has been noticed for a few months , particularly over summer this year. The modem is in a highly ventilated position as I am aware of any heat build up around any electronic equipment. I am not the first person to bring this matter into the Community forum, and a quick serach will turn up other threads. Over to you.

I have an TP Link Archer vr1600v that gets quite warm and the plastic has turned yellow in a band near the top of the unit. It is now three years old. Is this normal? And, if not how do I replace it as I can't see it being in warranty.

I have a different password for the Community, that I have not saved in my passwords list, and I can log in OK. My Postoffice/Account has another password that is saved and I can log in OK. That's an issue with Chrome/FireFox in the way that save passwords. Frustrating but I just work around it. Email looks to be sorted out now.

I now have another complicated issue. I changed my password to get access to the community and I can't log in to my post office or account. But the email is partially fixed as I have sent myself a test message. Wht is going on here?

I am having an issue with sending email from my home email, MS Outlook. I get the following message Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 535 5.7.8 [TPG-A02] Authentication denied. User ******@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMTP AUTH due to previous abuse. I have reset my email post office and MS outlook password but no change. I have emailed the postmaster@tpg.com.au to advise of the issue, but no answewr or change yet. This is getting ridiculous now. One day it was working and the next day I am in the "naughty corner" . HELP!

I have to say that when I changed over from ADSL2 to NBN is was all very painless and the price was not over the top. I have been a TPG customer for nearly 30 years, from back in the dial up days, and the setup fees were waived for me to go NBN. TPG has its hands tied a little I think as NBN Co charges a fee to TPG and costs are passed on. It's just the way it is.
