Take this as a complaint. I've deliberately made this public because it seems privately nothing gets done.   I have tried multiple times to cancel my TPG 5G Broadband because I DON'T GET 5G. Fair enough the engineers tried to fix the issue of TPG advertising a product when they lack the network to supply it, by replacing my modem. After that didn't work, I rang to cancel to be told a bunch of times that they will try other things. Eventually an engineer agreed with the notes on the account that if the problem persists there is nothing that can be done, so I should cancel.    TPG then for some reason doesn't let you cancel on the phone dispite insisting that i have to ring to change my plan and can't do it by email...but to cancel I have to email cancel@tpg.com.au   I do that immediately after the call, stating my email, phone, dob and address and my desire to cancel. The next morning I ask for confirmation and am told that there is no record. Obviously this is nonsense, I have the email headers to prove it. I'm told this will be looked into, in the meantime I am charged for a full month of a service you know you cannot supply (my current download is 12mb/s).   This morning I have still recieved no comfirmation of my cancellation request, no indication of a refund of the funds taken, and no idea when the service will stop. I refuse to believe that it takes 24 hours to process an email to start the cancellation process.    I've spent close to 3 months trying to troubleshoot this issue. Recieved a replacement 5g router due to ongoing issues. Currently connected but doesn't connect to the internet. It's got full 5g connection according to the admin panel. Currently using the old one to access the internet for work, am I supposed to swap the sim cards over? ... View more

I am at the end of my trial and am finding the 5g service pretty disappointing. I have tried multiple positions in my apartment, currently I am settled with it next to the sliding glass doors of my apartment, which is 9 floors up and has no buildings next to it as I am next to a train line - completely unobstructed essentially.   Anyway, I can't get it to maintain a 5g signal. I restart the modem and it gets a full 5g signal, then some time after that it drops to orange 4g (full signal) and never goes back to green. Even for 4g the speeds are often very poor at all hours of the day (right now I'm on 10MB download on wired ethernet). If I restart it it will go back up to proper speeds on 5g   This happens when there is no sun on the modem, and there is no heat source nearby. ... View more

New 5g Sagemcom router will not let me log in.   I tried to change the admin password for my router. The first attempt told me to use a stronger password, so I did, and on trying to save it I was given an error (no further details).   I logged out as the admin panel was not loading, and since then, 5 hours ago, I am continually greeted with "Too many requests, next try will take more time, for security reason" whenever I try to log in. I have restarted the router, I have left it hours between attempts, I have tried all 3 passwords (even tho the form was never successful), I have used different devices, and nothing will let me into this stupid new router. ...
