Get online support
Hi All.
My laptop recently had the blue screen of death.
I have it back now and have re connected my TPG email account to outlook and have downloaded the inbox from the server.
My question is: I have lost my inbox subfolders with all saved emails. Is there any way i can retrieve them?
Kind Regards
diadams1
Hi @diadams1 . How did you recover from BSoD? Did you reinstall Windows on the same hard disk? Especially, if you reformatted the hard disk. I rather think they are all gone.
What version of Windows do you have?
According to the internet, Outlook Express folders are dbx files located
C:\Documents and settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{long number}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.
If you have a standard POP3 mailbox, only the last 45 days are stored. I think any backups that TPG take are recycled after 46 days.
Send an email to postmaster@tpg.com.au explaining your situation.
Hi @diadams1
Have you sent your query to our Post Masters?
We can't confirm if we can still recover them as the email is being transferred to TMC, but we can still check on what we can arrange.
Just send us a private message with your account details.
