@Tracyleung325 . Having the signal strength drop like that is reason enough to replace the router. How long have you had it? It might be under warranty.
If you use the VOIP phone facilty, you have to use the TPG router.
If you don't use it, you can buy any other router.
With all the help you are getting from David and the mods, I don't think changing providers is the answer.
