outbox blocked from sending emails

I cannot send emails from my tpg account.  I get this message.

 

 'Cannot send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 535 5.7.8 [TPG-A02] Authentication denied. User xxxx@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMTP AUTH due to previous abuse'

 

The TPG rep I spoke to yesterday was singularly unhelpful.  I send about 4-5 emails a day which is hardly abuse.  I also use a VPN occasionally.  Can anyone help?

Hi @sjped

 

Thanks for raising this with us.

 

The account was banned from the server as it detected that you are using an IP address that is out of Australia.

It may have happened since you were using a VPN.

 

We'll raise this with our Post Masters and provide you with the update once available.
