replacing Archer VR1600 with Deco x73 DSL

Would like to update my VR1600 to a Deco X73-DSL, currently on FTTN, with voip so need to keep that.Hence X73, is it possible to use this instead or am I forced to use VR1600 since voip is pre programmed?

Please note that once you opt to use a non-TPG modem, the VoIP service will not work.

So, can i use a deco system as the access point and connect with the vr1600 modem so i keep the voip?

Yes, you can use your Deco system as an access point.
