Can't receive calls

New customer, 

     Can dial out no problem but when anybody calls nothing happens on the home phone, 

bit of an issue as we have elderly relatives over seas who use our landline as emergency contact, anyone help? 

Modem was purchased with tpg plan so i'm assuming it shouldn't be the issue, everything  was working a treat before we changed providers,

Hi @Patmoss1976 . If you call your mobile phone, does it show the expected home number?

While call out works straight away, it can be a few days before calling in works.

BTW, why did you change?

Thanks David,

        We were paying $270 a month for foxtel, phone and NBN through Telstra. Decided to ditch Foxtel and look for a better deal with 100mbps to save some dollars. Simple as that really, now we pay $100.

Sorry meant to say, yes home phone number shows when dialling out to mobile

Hi @Patmoss1976, number porting commences after the activation of your NBN service and it takes about 1-5 working days for this to be completed. During the porting process, incoming calls will not work.

Still not able to receive calls, have texted and emailed customer service 5 times or so over the last 2 weeks, not any sort of acknowledgment.

Looking for a different provider, very disappointed 😔

Nobody is getting in touch, phone is still not working, has been weeks with no contact, gonna cancel
