Get online support
My home phone has no dial tone when I pick it up.
When I try to call in it says " cannot be connected please try again later, oca 0188"
What is going on? This has been like this for at least the last two days.

Neither of these solutions worked.
The issue is due to an 'open-line' at the exchange, as has occurred previously.

This has occurred again. We have an 'open-line' and are unable to make or receive calls. If I call the number I still et the "unable to connect at this time... OCA0188" message.
WTF is going on with the exchange/line for our number?
